Jonathyn has a Master’s in Humanities from California State, Dominguez Hills, and a Bachelor’s in Sociology from Colorado State University-Pueblo. He currently works for the Empower Health Group (EHG) and acts as its program director for its abuse detoxification and residential programs in the San Fernando Valley. His proudest accomplishments there are the empowering conversations he has daily with individuals yearning for positive transformation.

Jonathyn recommitted to social justice while serving his indeterminate prison sentence. He understands the power of political advocacy, especially for those adversely impacted by the current political system, and will continue this work until true justice is achieved for all people.
