The Institute of Impacted Leaders is a 12-week organizing program that teaches people directly impacted by incarceration:

• •The basics of community organizing,
• •How to propose and change statewide laws in California,
• •How to advocate for themselves and their loved ones in prison.

The only requirements to be a part of a cohort is that you:

• •Are either formerly incarcerated or supporting a loved one(s) who is/has been incarcerated,
• •Are interested in learning how to advocate for the freedom of all people
• •Are a resident of California.
