Michelle graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara in June 2020 with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and double-minor in Education and Applied Psychology. Michelle grew a passion for ending mass incarceration and empowering those who have been directly impacted by it after growing up in a community highly affected by the carceral system. She is a graduate of the Institute of Impacted Leaders San Fernando Valley Cohort, and works on our culture shift towards abolition as the producer of our podcast, abolition is for everybody, and various social platforms.
