CA Mandela Act on Solitary Confinement (AB 2632)

Assembly Bill 2632 was introduced by Asm. Chris Holden. AB 2632 places clear limits on the use of solitary confinement across jails, prisons, and detention facilities, abolishes the use of solitary confinement for certain vulnerable groups, and ensures transparent record-keeping over the use of solitary confinement.
